It is important to get your date booked now before someone else beats you to it. “I am often asked,” says Lewis, “how much in advance someone needs to book me. That, of course, varies. I often book programs for more than a year away. But I have also booked programs with less than two weeks notice. Whenever your meeting may be, I urge you to call now. If you have a date selected and feel like you may want to book me, but need to clear it with a committee or others involved in the planning, I may be able to put a hold on your date until your meeting plans are finalized.”
